What Solar Choice Does NOT Do?
Our mission is to help Australian’s make a well-informed deicision
- We don’t engage in misleading advertising as this develops fleeting interest in solar and wastes installers time
- We don’t play favourites with our installers or product brands. Everyone is on the same deal with us and the customer is in charge of who they deal with
- We don’t spruike government incentives or pretend STC programs have just been launched to trick customers into thinking they are getting an unique deal
- We don’t sell customer information to more than 3 installers
- We don’t lock installers into contract lengths or have any sign up fees

Solar Choice Vetting Requirements
Please note that Solar Choice will only work with companies focusing on installing reasonable quality equipment and consistently getting positive customer outcomes and experiences.

| Trading history based on the businesses ABN | Minimum 12 months |
| Electrical & Plumbing requirements | In line with the requirements in each state and rebate programs. Evidence must be uploaded to Solar Choice and this is visible to our customers in the platform. This includes from sub-contractors. |
| All publicly available feedback and reviews | Minimum of 10 x 5-star reviews on public platform |
| Installers offers, product selection and pricing | Solar Choice team member individually reviews all offers uploaded by installers reviewing pricing, product quality |
How It Works for Heat Pump Installers on Solar Choice
Installers on Solar Choice’s network can select the areas they wish to appear in the quote comparison platform and will receive leads for customers that select them in their area. The installer will pay Solar Choice a flat fee per customer.
Each customer / lead can be rejected if one of the following reasons applies:
- No response from customer after 5 days
- Not a geniune customer – not interested in a quote
- Customer has already enquired with installer
Nationally our rejection rate is 12% as we focus on high quality leads, and every customer must submit a 4-digit code to validate their mobile number before accessing the portal.
