I strongly caution anyone considering doing business with JYCP Trading Pty Ltd, which operates under the names Homewyse and SolarWyse. My aunt, a 62-year-old retired nurse and a mother of three, spent nearly a decade caring for dementia patients in our community. She has dedicated her life to helping others, even recently risking her own life to save three young men from a burning car on a rural highway. Unfortunately, instead of being treated with honesty and respect, she was subjected to deceptive business practices, financial exploitation, and outright threats of violence by their sales manager, Rashid Dogar. The other party a 73 years old, profoundly deaf, and unable to read or write were promised a high-quality solar system that would provide five days of off-grid power and eliminate their electricity bill, making the product affordable. These representations were outright false—the system failed almost immediately, was non-compliant with Australian standards, and left them in financial distress. When we tried to seek answers, Mr. Dogar refused to provide an itemized invoice, avoided mediation, and instead took to court. Most shockingly, when I personally attempted to ask legitimate questions about the contract and installation, Mr. Dogar responded by making explicit threats to “bash and kill” me and a disabled gentleman in my aunts care. These threats have been reported to police, government agencies, and even the NSW Attorney General and Minister for Immigration. It is appalling that JYCP Trading, Homewyse, and SolarWyse continue to employ an individual who engages in intimidation and violence to silence complaints. Their lawyer has even dismissed these threats as irrelevant, showing a complete lack of ethics or accountability. This company preys on vulnerable Australians—elderly individuals, pensioners, and those with disabilities—trapping them in unaffordable, misleading contracts while using threats and legal intimidation to avoid taking responsibility. If you are considering purchasing a solar system, stay far away from Homewyse and SolarWyse. I am currently pursuing government action against them, and I urge anyone else who has been affected by their deceptive tactics to come forward. No business that operates this way should be allowed to continue scamming hardworking Australians.
