Sales people were happy to take time to discuss options. Installers were GREAT. System (10.5Kw) is working really well. Record daily 'feed-in' so far is 53kWh (we have 3 phase power) ! Saving money not only on electricity but gas as well. Highly recommended.

Good Sydney based company had no issue taking on rural NSW client. Friendly helpful staff, not pushy with initial sale. installed at agreed time without issue. Panels and inverter same as most companies use, Jinko panels, and yes I went with a Growatt inverter again, having had one previously on smaller system. Slight language barrier with installer but not a problem. Not too much problem for me as technophobe setting up the monitoring app. 3 months so far without problems

I had a fantastic experience expanding solar generation capacity at my residence in Sydney. Sam was very helpful and skilful throughout the sales process and surprisingly, it took just 3 days in total from inquiry to fully installed working system! Even on the day of installation, everything went smoothly. Mehdi went over & above to do a good job and walked me through the system, care & maintenance. I ordered a solar system that had been installed recently. The whole process was smooth and hassle-free from the first contact till the job done. Jason provided a multiple choice of solar products and offered me free of charge upgrade for a better quality panels. The installation team was very knowledgeable, friendly and left the site tidy. They did a great job, providing a high level of professional service. Solar system works perfectly, even better then I expected while researching my options. I highly recommend this company!

I am a complete new to solar power system. I received quotes from Solar Market. Solar Chief is the one very straight forward providing their best prices in many options in front of me. Their Senior Sales Consultant Bernard McCluskie (+61286104734) who is very friendly introducing himself and starting to understand what I need. I also did my own research and all most happy with his options. His patience is very impressive to me and the final result is the one I can't walk away with. The installation team is also perfectly good. They are careful and in detail to complete their job efficiently than clean up the place. In my opinion, seller Solar Chief and the installer are trustable to considerable if you want a solar system.

I got to know about SolarChief via SolarChoice website but that was merely an attempt to compare the price as I had been talking to a solar company for some time. When I made the inquiry via SolarChoice, Afnan from SolarChief called me and he asked me to give him a chance. He not only gave me a price target but also got the system delivered and installed as per the timelines he had committed. Pradip and team were right on time on the day of installation, got the work done and picked up the waste before they left. I recommend speaking to Afnan from SolarChief if you want to get a good product and competitive price.

I had no issues with the sales process. Solar Chief answered promptly to all of my enquiries and provided a reasonable quote. The installation went smoothly on 10 Nov 2023 although I was surprised that they sent only a team of two people to complete the job: one to install the inverter and only one other person to remove the 7 panels of the old solar system and replace them with 14 new panels. Nonetheless the installation was completed within a reasonable timeframe. Problems started to arise after the installation. 1} Although the contract called for the removal of the old system from my place, for some reasons, the installation team didn’t take away with them the 7 old panels which they had removed from the roof. Instead these old panels were left in my front yard FOR MORE THAN 5 WEEKS. One of the two installers, told me that they would take away the old inverter but, as to the old panels, they would be left in my front yard and someone would come to pick them up soon. For more than 5 weeks, nobody came. I raised this issue several times with Solar Chief but my complaints remained unanswered. No reply/explanation was provided by Solar Chief as to why the old panels had not been removed. Finally, as they wanted to be paid the balance of the contract amount, they came to my place unannounced and quietly removed the old panels on 20 Dec 2023 while I was not home. 2) Solar Chief sent by mistake on 4 Dec 2023 an application for Meter Replacement to a smart Meter to my electricity retailer. I wrote back to them questionning the necessity of this application since I already have a smart meter at my place. Again Solar Chief didn't reply to my email. Sure enough, a few days later, my electricity retailer wrote back to them confirming that my NMI has already a smart meter and that no meter work was required from their end. 3) To this date, Solar Chief has not sent to me, despite my various requests, a copy of the Certificate of Compliance, Electrical Works. This is clearly a breach of their obligations. 4) I also requested them to provide me, for warranty purposes, the serial numbers of the 14 new solar panels that were installed. Again, my request was completely ignored.

The Sales person, Alex is great to deal with, has good knowledge and can provide instant quotes. Unfortunately let down by the installers leaving a mess on the roof and 5 panels out of the 24 were not connected and took a month to fix. I only picked this up because of electrical knowledge as the voltages of one of the 3 arrays did not add up. I do think Solarchief is still worth a try as I have had a good outcome. Tj

It seems my damning review sparked some action! Solar Chief had my system installed within 48h of me posting my previous review. It would have been great if they had thought to tell me they were coming rather than turning up unannounced. A consequence of this was that I hadn't lined up sufficient funds to pay the entire sum on the day of installation. Which turned out to be for the better because it gave them a strong incentive to return to complete a minor omission before I paid the remainder. The system is working well so far. The subcontractor who did the installation was lovely and so far I'm very happy with the quality of the work done by him and his team. Giving 3 stars, because it was a frustrating and bumpy path but we got there in the end.

Still not installed. Have been repeatedly dicked around. Were in such a rush to get our deposit. Promised us a system by Easter yet here we are with no panels at the end of May. One reason after another they want addressed before they’ll actually install the panels. Despite their reassurances that our meter box was adequate, we have since been required to spend thousands upgrading it before they will proceed. Then they needed us to have 25 spare tiles in case they smash that many in the process. Now they’re wanting the lichen removed from our roof tiles. Rarely answer the phone and unreliable at returning phone calls. Very unimpressed. Today was the last straw - going to seek a refund on our deposit
