Initial problem with advice given, had to revise set-up given. Installation went well
Solar Inverter - Fronius
Went well until I had my modem upgraded to a newer model. The Smart Meter could not be reconnected. Supplier has been trying to get a response from Fronius, but this has been dragging on for well over a month now, and I am unable to review my consumption of power.

Solar Inverter - Fronius
Even in Tasmania on a hot day it limits production due to overheating which will also no doubt shorten its life. This only happens on hot days and in the afternoon when the inverter itself is in the direct sun.

Not the best on the market but able to combine a three string array. Plus is the easy to use networked interface application.

The company were very professional to deal with and provided detailed information on the system and the process that would take place to install the system. The installation was carried out by a small team who were very efficient and pleasant to have on site.
Solar Panel - REC
We were looking for something that was highly recommended and performed in the top quarter of brands available on the market plus a panel that had a good appearance with black surround. Unlike a neighbour whose silver frames have an overbearing reflection at certain angles of the sun.

Great looking inverter without a fan therefore has very low noise transmission and is barely audible

Out of several quotes they gave the most logical, well thought out system with a variety of options and suggestions as to how to best set up an efficient power system to suit our use. They were also happy to have the installer come out and go over a couple of queries before we signed off.

Only a week in so hard to say,the read out is not totally intuitive and the apps not bad.
