I would strongly recommend that if you are considering getting Solar installed on your roof that your avoid Freedom Energy Solutions at all costs. DO NOT DO IT. After being recommended this company by Solar Quotes we had a large system installed in January 2024. Flash forward to October last year and multiple defects were found. Including but not limited to: Undersized feed in cable, fraudulent CCEW provided to essential energy and multiple other issues...Including drilling into the inverter and voiding the warranty! Our system was immediately shut down after being deemed a fire hazard. On the advice of the NSW building Comission we recently agreed to allow Freedom to return to the property to rectify the works. Unfortunately, this left us with a broken hot water system and even more issues - including two solar panels left completely unplugged. I would suggest that the majority of the reviews out there are based on the process up until installation OR by people who have not had their system independently inspected by a third party. I would strongly suggest that anyone who has used this company engage a suitably qualified electrician (we have had 4 inspect our property) to inspect their work as soon as possible. I am more than happy to answer any questions anyone has and provide details of the 4 separate reports we have received, as well as more of the photos we have. I am honestly so scared how many families could be at risk.
