Terrible experience in buying solar,waisted almost 3 weeks and cancelled the order. Requested more money after approving the quotation by saying need additional parts.And then asking to pay before the installation by claiming that's their company policy. Avoid these terrible company.

The company is good and cared for the customer. My agent was Sean and the process was smooth. I took the initial Quote in Nov 23, placed the order and paused. Finally installed in Aug-24. the agent was in touch with you all the while. Finally, when i was ready again, he provided me a suitable solar system, gave me the best price and did the installation within a week- awesome. The sales process was easy.The company was keen to get installation.Installers kept to themselves,however when the job was complete they left without my knowledge and did not show me operation of system or the operation of inverter.I did not know how to operate syatem and am still trying to get someone out to help me.Not good

I recently had the unfortunate experience of engaging with Fortune Solar, and I must caution anyone considering their services to proceed with extreme caution. From start to finish, my interaction with this company was riddled with issues, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior that left me deeply dissatisfied. The first red flag appeared during the initial contact with their salesperson, Steve. His approach was overly aggressive and pushy, bombarding me with multiple calls, often at inconvenient times, including early mornings. Moreover, Steve seemed disorganized and unreliable, as he frequently made mistakes regarding the products offered, leading to discrepancies between what was discussed over the phone, the text offers, and the final documentation. However, the true extent of Fortune Solar's incompetence became apparent when it came time for the installation. After scheduling time off work to accommodate their service, I was informed at the last minute that the installers were unable to proceed due to illness. This scenario repeated itself multiple times over the course of three months, with rescheduling and cancellations becoming the norm rather than the exception. Adding insult to injury, communication from both Steve and the installer, Richard, became increasingly sparse and evasive. My attempts to reach out via calls, texts, and emails were consistently ignored, leaving me in the dark about the status of the project and feeling utterly frustrated with their lack of professionalism. Finally, after enduring months of delays and disappointment, I reached my breaking point and requested a refund. Unsurprisingly, obtaining a refund from Fortune Solar proved to be yet another arduous battle, with Steve and Richard once again evading my attempts at communication. It was only after resorting to threats of reporting them to regulatory authorities like the ACCC (Australian Competition and Consumer Commission) that I managed to secure my refund, a process that dragged on for an additional two weeks. In summary, my experience with Fortune Solar was nothing short of a nightmare. Their persistent incompetence, poor communication, and disregard for customer satisfaction have left me with a bitter taste and a strong warning to others considering their services. Steer clear of Fortune Solar unless you're prepared to endure a frustrating and ultimately unsatisfactory ordeal.

This disgusting company has installed FAULTY HARDWARE that simply does not work. For 6 weeks I have BEGGED Them to get this fixed and they simply refuse to. I paid in full on time and this disgusting, untrustworthy, dodgy company has blatantly stolen my money. I have lodged complaints with the Dept of Fare trading and the dept of Energy. But do not fall for the trap I did. This company is dishonest and sells dodgy faulty hardware that simply does not work. I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THIS COMPANY HAS ITS LICENSE REMOVED!!

This is the most unprofessional company. Incomplete installation and damaged existing equipment. They threaten customers and did not complete connection even after 1 month of claiming complete. Please stay away from them. I will be posting this everywhere so other can avoid going through a worst experience.
