Bare Energy was born out of our frustrations trying to buy solar. Tired of confusing industry terminology, pushy sales tactics and generic solutions, we were convinced there was a better way.
We assembled a team of the best people, with decades of experience in the Australian solar and home improvement industries, and made a commitment to build a solar energy business fuelled by our passion for delivering a personalised client experience. Bare Energy just completed a 6.6Kw solar system for me yesterday. Selecting Bare initially was based on Costs and support which is all local in Australia. James Wallis was awesome on the sales side with Tom and the team arriving as scheduled and doing an exceptional job on the install. I got a post install phone call following up on the install any whether I was happy with the work. These guys are professional and get top marks from me. Firstly, someone came out and looked and assessed and discussed it with me. After I changed my mind, they went with that and quoted for the new plan. I received emails from Alexandra informing me of how things would proceed. Three men did the installation with minimum fuss. Tom explained everything, answered all my questions. I am very happy with everything. Thank you everyone.

Dont know enough to give an opinion. Had to give a rating as the box had to be marked. That is the problem with buying many things. One relies on the salesperson’s accounts, and I was happy with what they told me.

The sales support and service was fantastic. The installing team was punctual, friendly and cleaned up after their work. Our meter changeover occurred on the scheduled date and we have not required any post installation support so far. Highly recommend as they are using the current best panels and the inverter is being used by 2 of the other 3 installers I received quotes from.

These panel reviewed very highly and were utilised by 3 of the 4 installers I discussed my project with. They have a black trim and mounting frame which looks good.

The unit is working well and we have had no issues so far. They come highly recommended, and again 3 of the 4 installers were using this brand.

Great communication, punctual and reliable. The guys from Bare Energy were the only solar installers who physically came out to inspect and measure our roof before quoting and were able to install a 6.6kw system for us. I was in contact with 5 or so other companies including Origin who said it was impossible to put panels on our roof because it was “too small”. Another said our roof is flat and couldn’t do it (I’m aware panels should ideally be tilted 10 degrees or more for self-cleaning but was prepared to clean them more often than not anyway or the installer could have offered tilt racks). I read through Finn’s Solarquotes solar guides so knew what I was in for and had a lot of questions which James/Josh/Rick answered logically and to satisfaction. Happy with our system and it’s producing as much as what was estimated in our proposal so far.
