Just the absolute worst
Installer Comments
Just the absolute worst. If I had $100 for every time Arise lied to me, I'd have a free solar system. My system was (mostly) installed a month ago but we're still waiting for some parts to arrive. First I was told they'd be here the next week. Then they were dispatched that week but would be here the following week. "We'll send tracking. Oh we didn't send tracking because our system went down. Why didn't we send it when the system came back up? Oh, our salesperson was on a half day but they just got to the office so we'll have them call you." No call backs (aside from multiple calls asking me to sign over the STC rebate despite my installation not being completed), no tracking... Then I was told my order was damaged in transit to me so they had to send another. The story changed again - the stock had never arrived or been dispatched but it is NOW in the warehouse ready to go out. That was days ago, it hasn't moved because they're waiting on more people's orders to come in so they can dispatch it in bulk. But rest assured, it'll go out in the next day or 2 and I'll be notified and sent tracking. Every time I speak to them I'm told different lies and promised things that don't eventuate. Is that worth saving a couple grand? That's really up to you to decide but I shudder to think of ever having to deal with warranty issues through Arise. I posted the above to Google and Arise reached out immediately. Their "fixer" Adrian promised to have everything resolved ASAP if I'd just be so nice as to remove the bad review.. True to his word I received tracking from him that same day. Unfortunately days later the tracking showed no updates despite Adrian assuring me it had left. A week later I called the transport company who confirmed that the item hadn't been collected, despite what I'd been told. Long story short, the "fixer" has now been ignoring me for weeks and my solar is still not live MONTHS later. I suggest that you AVOID ARISE SOLAR AT ALL COSTS. Literally the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

Charged me for a system that produces half what was promised as system performance due to the incompetent installers placing panels in direction that doesn't get sunlight. Awful after sales service and despite giving them multiple opportunities to fix the problem they have done nothing to address and lied to NSW Fair Trading once i made a complaint. Extremely dodgy company, steer well clear!

Good inverter but arise should have sold me 5kw instead of 8kw due to their poor design of the system

After first getting ripped off with one of the company’s that solar choice recommended I went with arise solar and couldn’t be happier with the outcome, although I had to wait a while to get installed, mainly due to the rural location, it was worth the wait, I got a10 kw system first then upgraded to a 13kw with two batteries, it’s the best thing I’ve done and arise made it happen, I’m on target for a $2000 plus savings for the year,

* Issue 1: Paid for 6.6Kw solar system, but installed 4.4Kw system stating technical issue. (Promised 15 solar panels, but only 10 were installed). No refund provided for 5 less panels.Did not respond emails asking for refund. * Issue 2: Warning light in the system since day 1. Their technician said problem with how the panels were installed system and they need to install micro-optimisers behind the panels in 1 direction. I spoke to the company told them they told extra money for optimisers. I responded by saying they already have my money for the 5 less panels installed and they should adjust it for the price of optimisers. Representative asked for copy of contract which I sent, since then no action has been taken. I’ve sent multiple emails and it’s been weeks if not months but they’ve not responded.

WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Installer Comments
WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - They installed a solar system on my roof in Feb 2024 and failed to complete the paperwork sent to energy provider properly which meant that the system was not registered. Here I am six months later and has not been resolved. Have spoken with them numerous times, they assure me that a manager will call back and this never occurs. Have now elevated this complaint to the office of fair trading.

Bought a house last year with arose solar panels that haved stopped working. When contacted them they told me I was not the owner of the solar and had to pay $300 to transfer ownership. Them 1 week after opening a ticket with them rang them back and they told me I had to organise a contractor because it is regional! NOT HAPPY with their service at all and still not working
BUYER BEWARE of AriseSolar exceptionally poor customer service

21/02/2024 - AriseSolar very keen on taking deposit and a week later full payment had to be paid. Customer service at this point was friendly and helpful. Next step they said they would provide an installation date. We received an installation date a week later. So far so good. We explained situation with no tenants in property and would need to have notice to open house to which the team agreed. Product being delivered on a date and time provided and AriseSolar were advised to call with notice so we could get to the house to open up gates to secure product off the footpath. Discovered product had been delivered as a neighbour called to let us know. By the time we arrived at house ( had to left work) all Product was on the footpath and when asked to move behind the fence as required , the driver refused and drove off. Now we are waiting for the installation date, and one day prior to installation day we received an email explaining there was a problem and they ended to reschedule. Then the games began - we chased AriseSolar for a new date, they didn’t call us. The call centre staff said they would find dates and would call and most times they didn’t. Too many times we did the chasing. Any other business wouldn’t get away with such appalling lack of customer service. Installation date provided and the saga continues. Another cancelled date and more excuses. Eventually, we have the panels installed and the contractor advises the invertor isn’t working and another day of work is lost. Again, many phone calls chasing AriseSolar for their completion arrangements. Then we received a date that a contract will arrive to ensure the investor is working only to be told we have to have internet connection to make the investor function. There isn’t any internet - no one lives in the property ( as Arisesolar were informed at the point of deposit ), and again we have another lost day at work, and still no working solar panels. The call Centre makes the very first attempt to solve the problem and, they call back with details of a contractor who will arrive and push a button or two and we have an operational system. We are now 20/06/2024. I understand things can happen especially when the demand is high for a product. This isn’t the issue here. It’s the out of pocket costs for 4 work days taken off to be available for trades through the 4 months) Phone calls to AriseSolar ( international and national) and lost credit to my electrical account, because it took so long to instal and operate. And ….. My niece, in the same town, at the same time, arranged the same number of panels to be installed on her home and her job from start to finish , took 3 weeks. Of course it wasn’t with AriseSolar. Finally we are asked to complete a survey by AriseSolar and when they didn’t like the score (really!), they asked if we would change our score. When we said not, they asked “ what could we do to get you to change it”? Again we said we wouldn’t change it. That’s when they offered compensation. They said they would send us their offer. They came back with an insulting figure of $165.00. When we said that was an insult and we provided them with what we felt was a reasonable amount based on actual out of pocket costs - they said they would see what they could do but we had to change the score in the survey. All the above has been put in writing to the customer support department right up to the CEO and guess what ….. no response - so we are still waiting for them to get back to us. And the survey remains factual and valid and we remain out of pocket and not apology for a really unsatisfactory effort. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Shocking installation by their sub contractor. Numerous holes left in the roof from where tradesman (or cowboy) had missed the batons for the solar brackets. NOT sealed up and now have a roof that leaks. Was informed their warranty was 8 months!!!! Absolutely shocking company, impossible to contact when there are issues. Do not touch with a ten foot pole!!!!

The sales process was easy enough. The Arise Solar rep was very keen for us to proceed and was in constant contact. He answered any questions we had and was generally helpful Installation was delayed by several weeks for reasons unknown but eventually went ahead on the nominated day. The installers were cheerful and seem to have done a good job. Unfortunately, there was a problem when the installer logged the inverter with Jinko and it took me 2 weeks and numerous attempts at contacting support before someone responded. The issue was quickly resolved once it was found the installer had logged the system in his name instead of mine. This allowed me access to the control app so I can monitor the whole system. I now have an issue with the app sending me a message every day to advise of an issue with the inverter but once again, I am waiting for support to respond to my query - what is the problem and who is going to resolve it? I had lodged an application for the Qld Government battery rebate scheme and was required to provide a formal quote as a part of the process. I tried several times to obtain a compliant supply/installation quote from Arise Solar but did not receive a response and my application was eventually rejected as no local supplier would install a battery to a system provided through another retailer. The loss of the rebate ($3,000) means I will not be installing a battery so I could have gone with a lower spec inverter and saved some money.

The panels perform well and being all-black, they look good on the roof.
Solar Inverter -
The inverter appears to work well although the app is notifying daily of an issue which I am attempting to have Arise Solar look at. This particular inverter was a requested upgrade as I had intended to install a battery but as I was unable to obtain a formal quote for the battery install it is now a wasted expense. The inverter has a major benefit in that it can be wired to provide household power (without a battery) when the grid is down, but this is not included in the installation cost, so I'll need to hire an electrician to complete this work if I decide it's worth it.

Delay and faulty installation
Installer Comments
Arise Solar demanded full payment prior to the installation. It cancelled the installation the day prior to the installation. The installation was done 1 month later and did not work. I had to take time off work on multiple occasions for the technician to come to do further work. When the technician could not fix the fault, they stopped responding. Eventually, I submitted complaint to department of fair trading to get it to fix the faulty solar panel installation. They promised compensation for the delay in installation which never occurred. They later stopped responding to my emails and phone calls.

Awful experience
Installer Comments
Awful experience, still fighting to get a refund 2 weeks after installation team arrived and said cannot install! Went through a prolonged quote stage and many to/from emails and calls, we finally paid the deposit and awaited installation date, 5 days later received install date, then team arrived and looked disinterested and said cannot install, roofing screws not spaced correctly for panels and roof too steep. Was advised Arise would contact us for the next step, sadly not. Called our adviser Steve who advised would check another installation team and call back within two days, no call, then advised would arrange refund and would send forms today, nothing received, then advised forms would be sent today so hold on the phone while he sends them, received and returned straight away but no refund. 1 week later received $100 deposit but not the balance, phoned many times since still not received... Frustrating... Assuming that everything goes right they are OK but when it doesn't wheels fall off!
Terribe service adoid at all costs

I ahve been talking to Arise about recieveing a quote for a battery system, It takes the agent almost 2 days to bother replaying to emails if at all when trying to confirm details about teh system that their own contract suggest should be confirmed before hand to avoid unexpected charges. Then they wanted to charge $150 for a site visit no thanks then had argumentitve and rude calls from the sales assistant and this was all BEFORE they had completed the sale I cant imagine how bad it would be after avoid this company like the plague

I organised for Arise Solar to install solar panels on my house. I sent the plans of my property and house. I sent copies of the electricity bill and everything they requested. They made me pay the full price and booked the install. The install was cancelled and rebooked by them multiple times. It then got to over 2 months since I paid in full and they advised that they can't do the install and were going to process a full refund. The refund still hasn't happened. Disgusting customer service and a disgusting, untrustworthy company!

Very ordinary workmanship and disgraceful customer service - Horrible attitude towards customers. Everything I write here is factual, these events happened and we've paid the price for them. Our neighbour had an Arise system installed so he recommended Arise. After the enquiry and quote we had our system installed on the 17th of March 2023. I'm not a solar expert and I relied on Arise to perform the work in accordance with the installation manuals and guidelines. Towards the completion of the installation I asked the two remaining installers where the securing screw and Earth cable was but they didn't speak English so they couldn't engage in any discussions other than "Boss will be back." The supervisor Mark had already left the property. After the system was installed I inspected the job and found that the Growatt inverter was installed in direct sunlight, at a slight angle, didn't have the Earthing cable installed. The holes into the eaves were rough and was poorly drilled. The installers made a plan to install the Growatt inverter on the south side of the house away from all sunlight. See that photo below. Instead they installed the inverter on the north side of though house which exposed the inverter in direct sunlight for between 6 to 8 hours each day. Arise Solars response was that this was "industry standard" and if I wanted it moved to the south side of the house, it would cost an extra $450 + GST. It took 2 weeks of emails and me contacting NSW Fair Trading to finally get Arise Solar to move the inverter to a location where it isn't exposed to direct sunlight. HOWEVER, Arise Solar won't take any responsibility for the damage they've done in the original install. There are numerous holes and silicone all over the wall and two very large rough holes in the eaves of the roof where the cables went. Now, the second install of the inverter. The installer Mark told me he was coming up to inspect the inverter on a Saturday afternoon at 2:30pm. On arrival he had another person with him and they started moving the inverter. This was done very quickly and very roughly. They worked into the night and finally left at about 7:45pm. Mark had stated to me that he would be back to repair all the holes and damage they had done, however he has ceased all contact and not responding to any calls or messages. When I contacted Arise Solar, the response I got was "So what do you expect us to do?" See the photos below. Do not use Arise Solar, they are unethical, cheap and very poor at installing any systems. They will damage your home and leave you to clean up the mess. This is just a summary of the facts, there is so much more detail I want to share such as Arise Solar directing me not to talk to the inverter manufacturers Growatt. Keep an eye on my youtube channel and my Google Reviews for those!
