The system works well, but some glitches during installation.

Installer Comments
The solar panel system has worked well, in central Victoria with a cool climate. Our 6.64 kW panels and 5kW inverter produced 7307 kWh of electricity in the first 365 days from Nov.'22 - Nov.'23, an average of 20 kWh/day. The system averages about 10kWh/day in winter (June-Aug) and 28 kWh/day in summer (Dec-Feb). It produces more electricity than we use, except in winter. Unfortunately, there were some glitches getting it installed. We sent 3P Solar details and photos of our switchboard as requested. Then, after signing a contract and paying the deposit, they told us we'd have to upgrade the s/b at extra cost. Then the upgraded s/b blew a fuse which had to be replaced, also at our cost. All up, these changes added about $1000 to the quoted price. It would have been correct business practice to tell us about the extra work and added costs before finalising the contract and deposit. We'd have been prepared to pay the extra, but we should have been notified in advance as they had details and pictures of the s/b before work began.
Solar Panel - Trina
The panels are working well (see above comments). They are well-situated, neatly fitted on the roof and look good.
Solar Inverter - Sungrow
The inverter is working well and hasn't missed a beat. I haven't been able to get the monitor to work.
Too long for an inspection
Installer Comments
The installer installed it on 10th April and that was OK but we didn't get any inspection of the system until 28th May so over 6 weeks.
Solar Panel - Solarwatt
Not sure as we have only started using it today after waiting over 6 weeks for inspection.
Solar Inverter - Growatt
Only started using it today due to the length of time it took to be inspected.

Very satisfied with 3P Solar there communication was escellent all through the procees and the installers were accommodating and did a good job.
Solar Panel - Trina
The Trina panels provided good overall working coverage at a competitive price.
Solar Inverter - Sungrow
I chose the Sungow inverter as it was ranked in the middle of all inverters and competitively priced. All come with a 10 year warranty
