A 3 unit commercial strata building has installed 22kW of solar split across 4 individual solar systems. The best value solution in this instance was to allocate some roof space to each owner and allow them to install their own solution.
Solar Choice was engaged by one of the owners to complete a business case and equitable roof design to enable the 3 commercial units and 1 common power meter to have a solar system installed. Through a competitive tender process, the building found a suitable commercial solar installer that had been vetted by Solar Choice.

Solar Choice continued to provide support to the owners of the building, helping answer questions that arose on how the systems would operate through to the installation of the project in mid 2023.
The solution has 3 x 5.28 kW systems for 2 commercial units and the common area meter and 1 x 6.6kW system for the other commercial unit which had greater power requirements. All systems were installed at the same time saving costs on equipment hire and installation. The systems use Jinko solar panels and Sungrow inverters.
