Solar Choice Commercial has successfully brokered the winning bid on a 100kW solar installation for one of the western Sydney locations of a major national retail chain.
The completion of the project comes after over four years of dedication by the Solar Choice team, who prepared numerous iterations of business cases as price points shifted over this period. Solar Choice anticipates that this will be the first of many similar projects with this client.
The client engaged Solar Choice in 2011 in hopes that the team could add value by brokering a better deal for them through Solar Choice’s network of installers and brokering framework. In the end, Solar Choice did so, succeeding against strong competition.
Solar Choice also assisted with the introduction of various finance solutions, though in this case the return on investment of a turnkey investment proved more persuasive.
The building where the array was installed has significant daytime electricity demand, including heavy loads from AC units.
The system uses 260W ReneSola solar panels and 3x 30kW ABB inverters.
