WA based Telecommunication infrastructure specialist, Roam Engineering has installed a 40kW system on the roof of their warehouse in Perth, WA.
The company was looking to make a positive impact on the environment by reducing the carbon footprint of its operations. This project will offset an estimated 890 tonnes of CO2 emissions which is the equivalent of taking almost 10 cars permanently off the road.
Solar Choice was engaged to provide independent analysis and advice on the different options available to the business owners and manage a competitive tender process which enabled the business to access better than market rates.
The installed solar power system features 120 x 330W Risen Split Cell Solar Panels and 2 Fronius Symo KW solar inverters.
Overall, the solar system will save the business over $175k in electricity costs over the next 20 years assuming no increases in electricity prices.
