North Curl Curl SLSC installs Solar and Battery

North Curl Curl Surf Life Saving Club has a proud history on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, supporting a safe environment for 160,000 annual visitors, 1,600 members and over 600 Nippers.

Solar Choice was approached by a club member to provide some independent advice and support for a grant application. On successful receipt of the grant, Solar Choice provided competitive quotes from 3 local solar contractors with the appropriate experience on commercial solar projects.

The final solution features 102 x 390 watt Trina Vertex solar panels with 2 Fronius inverters and a 10kWh LG Chem battery.

The installed solution provides a significant reduction to the ongoing costs of the volunteer-based organisation and helps achieve their goal of minimising carbon emissions.
