WINAICO, a subsidiary of WIN WIN Precision Technology, has announced the release of their new 60 cell, 285W Photovoltaic module in October 2012. Those attending All Energy in Melbourne on 10 & 11 of October will be able to see the WSP-285M6 QUANTUM first hand as it will be officially launched at the show.
The QUANTUM will have have an increased model efficiency of 17.3% and a Fill Factor higher than 77%, in order to achieve this efficiency WINAICO has used the combination of integrated rear side passivation and selective emitter technology into the solar cell topology. The company has sought to refine its module production techniques to get the most power out of its modules, the company believe the result of this investment is a panel that is ‘built to last for years to come’.
The module measures 1665 x 999 x 40mm and weighs 19.7kg, because of its light weight and efficiency WINACIO believe the model will suit those with a small roof space. The company are also offering a free two year insurance policy across their range of solar panels.
Sascha Rossmann, Vice President of Global Sales said of the module:
“We put a great deal of focus on the keeping our products at the forefront of technology, working to improve efficiency and production quality of our modules and I look forward to seeing them excel in real world conditions”
