Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, recently opened Tindo Solar’s first Australian manufacturing plant and took a tour of the company’s facilities, Tindo Solar have extended this invitation to members of the public and will be holding Open Days on Tuesday 13 November and Wednesday 14 November.
The Open Day is an opportunity for the general public to see what goes into making a solar panel and see a real solar plant in action, there will also be an opportunity to ask questions and find out more about solar in general.
Tindo Solar is Australia’s only solar PV manufacturer, their facilities are based in Adelaide’s Technology Park, situated approximately 12kM north of the CBD. Places on the tour will be limited and registration is required, to book a place visit the Tindo website.
