The Clean Energy Council National Conference has combined with the annual ATRAA (Appropriate Technology Retailers of Australia) conference for the first ever ‘Clean Energy Week’, a conference for Australia’s clean energy retailers, including solar power.
The event, Australia’s largest meeting of Australia’s solar power industry players, will be held in Melbourne, 2-7 May, 2011. A number of speakers will give presentations about the current state and future direction of the solar power industry. Solar Choice will also be sending a small delegation, so if you see us there feel free to chat us up.
For the inaugural of Clean Energy Week, solar panel and components retailer Clenergy has donated a 3kW solar photovoltaic system to Melbourne Citymission‘s Hartnett House, home to the Children’s Centre, which provides daycare services to local children of all backgrounds and abilities. Hartnett house is a historic building in Brunswick, and has been standing for around 100 years.
