Inaugural Manly Solar Beach Hub Drinks a success

On Thursday 16 November Solar Choice held its inaugural Manly Solar Beach Hub Drinks on our ‘board room’ balcony overlooking Manly Wharf and Harbour.

The get together was an enjoyable gathering of northern beaches based industry characters and businesses, with over fifty attendees during the evening to celebrate Manly’s ever-expanding solar energy precinct – and to savour our hub as a productive, healthy and solutions-oriented place to do business.

Since the early pioneering days of BP Solar which ran its module assembly plant a few kms from Manly at Brookvale from 1985 to 1998, the northern beaches area has been the home of many leading industry figures.

The Manly peninsula has become a bit of a hot spot for large-scale solar farm related companies over the past few years, with the likes of NEXTracker, Edify Energy, Wirsol, RINA/OST Energy, Lloyds Register, RenewEstate, SERA Analytics and Terrain Solar having set up shop locally.

Solar Choice ourselves are now in our tenth year of operations in Manly.

Attendees from other entities included those from First Solar, ARENA, Epuron and law firm DLA Piper.
