South Australia based stone designer and manufacturer, Concept Stone and Woodcraft has installed a 13kW solar power system on the roof of their warehouse in Wasleys, South Australia.
The company was looking to make a positive impact on the environment by reducing the carbon footprint of its operations. This project will offset an estimated 310 tonnes of CO2 emissions which is the equivalent of taking almost 4 cars permanently off the road.
Solar Choice was engaged to provide independent analysis and advice on the different options available to the business owners and manage a competitive tender process which enabled the business to access better than market rates.
The installed solar power system on the warehouse features 32 x 405W Risen Sunpower Solar Panels and 1 x Fronius 10kW Smart Inverter.
Overall, the solar system will save the business thousands of dollars in electricity costs over the next 20 years assuming no increases in electricity prices.
