Average commercial solar system prices remain mostly unchanged at about $1.19 per watt ($1.19/W) between June and July 2017.

  1. Hi,
    You mention that the prices include all government incentives. I’m not sure how that works with the 100kW sizes, which wouldn’t get the STCs but can receive LGCs. How are they factored into the prices?

    1. Hi Ash,

      The threshold on STC projects is actually 100kW – systems with panel array capacity of 100kW or greater get LGCs and not STCs. The prices we post here for 100kW solar systems are actually for systems that are slightly smaller – 99.8kW or similar – but we still refer to them as 100kW systems because it’s easier to round up. STCs are factored into the price for the 100kW systems in our Price Index.
