Commercial Solar PV Price Index for February 2019

Changes in the composition of Solar Choice’s commercial solar installer network, combined with price updates from several companies have resulted in a slight upwards shift in average dollar per watt ($/W) prices for commercial solar systems – up about 2c/W from November 2018 to $1.17/W.

All prices in the tables below include incentives available through the federal Renewable Energy Target as well as GST, but do not incorporate meter installation fees or additional costs, such as ground-mounting, grid protection or grid connection studies.

      These prices include the benefit from the small-scale technology certificates (STCs). Installers will assume ownership and receive the benefit of these directly from the government.
