Wills Street Eyecare installs 11kW Solar System

Wills Street Eyecare is an independent optometry practice offering the best vision, the best style and the best eye health.

Mark Letts contacted Solar Choice in 2020 with the goal of lower power bills and the carbon footprint of the practice.

Solar Choice’s engineers assessed a number of different options for consideration and provided 3 quotes from reputable suppliers with a proven track record in commercial solar projects.

The installed 10.73kW solar system features 29 x Trina Honey 370W solar panels and 29 Enphase IQ7+ micro-inverters which enable the system to be resilient to the shading caused by roof penetrations and the trees to the east of the building.

The system will produce 14,490kWh of clean energy each year and is expected to offset 218 tonnes of CO2 emissions during its life.
