James Court is a multi-level apartment building located on Northbourne Avenue in Braddon. The building was well-suited to a large solar system to tackle the common area electricity which covered the buildings pool pumps, lifts and gym.
Solar Choice was engaged to develop an independent business case and provide some quotes from leading commercial solar installers in Canberra with experience on high-rise installations. One of Solar Choice’s recommended installers was awarded the project and installed the system in late 2022.

The installed solar power system features 184 x 540W Phono Twin Plus Solar Panels and a Sungrow 110kW Inverter.
This solution provides an immediate cost saving to the body corporate and also reduces their carbon footprint by over 2,400 tonnes over the next 20 years.
