360 Early Education Installs 64kW Solar System

360 Early Education is a leader in early childcare with sites across the ACT and NSW. The business has taken a positive stance on minimising their carbon footprint through capitalising on solar power.

Solar Choice was engaged to support the owners find the optimal system design and manage a competitive tender process following a recommendation from another childcare centre in Canberra. Solar Choice developed an independent business case for 360 Early Education during the construction of a new site in Throsby and provide some quotes from leading commercial solar installers in Canberra with experience on high-rise installations.

The winning company from Solar Choice’s tender was awarded the project in 2023 and the installation took place in line with the construction completion towards the end of the year.

The installed solar power system features 146 JA Solar Panels and a Sungrow 50kW Inverter.

This system is expected to generate almost 100,000 kWhs per year in solar power and offset over $350,000 in electricity costs over its lifetime.
